It remains to be seen.

Directors Notes

A comedy about suicide? Sounds unlikely, but it’s true. “Natural Causes” is dark humour at its best and we hope you won’t be afraid to laugh out loud as it’s all done in the best possible taste! What make the situations in the play both believable and humorous are the well-rounded and realistic characters with which we are all familiar: A long. suffering husband, a world-weary wife, a younger secretary/mistress and a tactless but well-meaning Samaritan. Perhaps the one character we won’t recognise is the purveyor of suicide – not too many of those around in our society! However, in the play he is as real as the other characters, thanks to regular glimpses into his past and current life, which explain his intense pride in his work and his constant quest for perfection and success. But will this be a perfect working day? Will he find success this time? Sit back. watch and enjoy and all will be revealed.
