Directors Notes
You hadn’t heard of “Children’s Day”? Well, you have now.
It is a shade deeper than farce. There are real people in this play, if by real we mean that their problems are universal, their reactions predictable, their triumphs and happinesses life-size and not dramatised beyond our own expectations. It is a tolerant and sympathetic play- like it-I hope you will.
