It does no harm to be a little out of the ordinary. If you are rich or aristocratic you are said to be eccentric.
The difficulties start if you are an ordinary man who wants to be different. In this amusing, sometimes hilarious, often pathetic play with its splendid dialogue, Tom Stoppard shows us one such man striving to live in a world of his own.
