Directors Notes
We started rehearsals regarding the play as a lighthearted farce. But very soon the characters emerged as real people, people we meet from day to day, people in whom the age old need to feel loved and valued leads them to do many foolish things. We’ve laughed at the pretence and the posturings, but also gained a little understanding of real life Georges & Clares, Nicks & Janes, Jacks and Ruths who cope with uncertainty & hurt in whatever way they can.
Although you may never see more than the book cover, we hope you enjoy our version of “The Psychology of Human Relationships.”
