In as sinister an old library as one is likely to come across a dusty lawyer reads a will to an equally sinister family-one member of which has werewolf tendencies, another thinks he is Julius Caesar, and a third is a gentle old lady who plants more than seeds in her flower beds. And what about the sympathetic nurse and the author of romantic novels-are they all, or more than, they seem to be? All is revealed as the plot twists and turns to it’s surprising conclusion.

Directors Notes

This play takes place in “Monument House” which is an isolated place set in large wooded grounds which the villagers will not go near, they even leave the groceries down by the gate. As one by one we meet the weird members of this sinister family we begin to realise why! The family have all got problems of their own, and now father has died what has happened to all his money – and to whom has he left it ?? Our lovely actors have all worked extremely hard turning themselves into these strange characters – so please pay attention – and see if you can get to the end before we do

Hope you all have an enjoyable evening
